Procedures for the social calendar for 2010

Everyone household helps by being responsible for 1/3 of one party each year.  Three members are designated to give each party and they serve as equal partners.  They are a team.  Neither a host, co-host nor a food committee is designated.  The team decides where the social is held. They all cook and they all share the cost.  They can stay together for a few years and take turns using each of their homes or work out a deal where the second use of a home requires the owner to cook less or to pay less.  No home is too small. 

If a team member is absent from a party for which the household shares responsibility, that member may switch months with another household outside of its team.  The absent team member may also cook and pay its other team members in advance.
